Why pilot wife coaching?
Maintaining a good relationship with someone who lives half their live at home and half on the road is tough. I know, I’ve been married to a pilot for 24 years.
The pilot wife life is unique, and sometimes hard. We are 100% in charge part of the time and then we have to drastically shift gears to share responsibilities with our partner when they are home. And they don’t always do things our way.
Self-care advocates tell us to take time for ourselves. Which sounds nice; but who’s going to take care of the kids?
There’s something romantic and mysterious about aviation life and we have to fend off the misconceptions all the time. No, I don’t know exactly where he is. No, we don’t fly all over the world for free. No, I can’t help you find your luggage.
It’s not always as amazing as people think.
But what if it could be?
What if you could reframe the obstacles of your lifestyle into opportunities? What if you could build the life you want and strengthen your relationships in the process?
If you’re up for the challenge, I want to work with you.
